Nouveau message de la part du comité d'organisation de l'Ironman de Francfort concernant les Pros, invitation à se faire contrôler avant le Briefing :

"Dear pro athletes,

on our way to protect our sport, our event and most of all you in the best possible way, we will be testing to determine hematocrit (HKT), haemoglobin (Hb) and the reticulocytes with a blood test for our race on July 1^st 2007. We will offer this test on a complete voluntary basis. The athletes this year will be personally and exclusively informed of the results of their test. The test will take place on:
Friday, June 29^th 2007 in the course of the pre-race meeting (Eissporthalle Frankfurt am Main).
The blood sample will be taken from the ear lobe. The test will be conducted and analysed by the Institut PWC, which is commissioned and certified by the NADA. The results of the tests will be available the same day and will be handed over to the athletes in a sealed envelope at the Bike Check-In on Saturday, June 30^th 2007.

With these measures we want to prepare you all for how we want to position ourselves in the future. To start this preparation in a fair way, we have decided on the version “voluntary” and “personal blood test information” for our race this year.
